sovereign support for a birth unlike any other

Birth days have never been usual days, and your labor and birth experience should be as unique as you are.

Birthing blessings to you, my name is Tasha and I would be honored to connect with you on your journey to having the birth you and your growing family dream of. As a traditional birth guide, I respect God’s very good design of women’s bodies to knit together and give birth to brand new bearers of His image. I equip curious women to glorify the Lord in each pregnancy and birth story.

My birth philosophy begins with God’s sovereignty and focuses on motherbaby as the human authority of the time and space, leaving the birth process undisturbed and hormonal matrix intact. As parents you bear the responsibility for considering how your child is to be brought into the world and the impact that experience will have on them. If you desire to birth under God’s authority, let’s talk about what that could look like - including the options they DON’T teach in a typical birthing class.

Birth is not a medical event, nor do I offer medical advice.

PROCESS

Pre-Interview

Interested in birth support but not sure where to start? Set up a free consultation, get your questions answered, and see if we’re a good fit for meeting your birthing day dreams. If not, I can help you find a better match!

No pressure, just answers.

Prenatal Visit

If you choose me to support your family, we will meet several times over the weeks before your estimated due date to envision your experience and discuss in detail ways to aid your agency in labor. We will practice comfort and coping measures and familiarize you with what to expect during labor.

Continuous Labor Support

When you think you are in labor, you can contact me any time day or night. If your support plan is from a distance, we will keep in touch how you prefer: video, call, or text. For in-person support I will come to you during labor, meeting you at your home or chosen birth location, and staying with you until at least an hour after your baby arrives.

Postpartum Visit

Within a week or two of the birth, I will visit your new family in the comfort of your home to check on your personal recovery, relive the memories of the birth experience, help with breastfeeding and getting more sleep, and answer any questions you may have.

If a woman is empowered by birth, she thinks:

'If I can do that, I can do anything' — for the rest of her life.”
